Description

A pink cased glass vase, with opaque white inner casing and clear outer casing. Made in Japan, by the Iwatsu glassworks, as part of their Hineri range. Often mistaken for Murano glass, but similar items from this range can be found with labels that read "IW, Hineri, Made in Japan". Often these were exported by a wholesaler / distributer named Kamei, and are sometimes labelled "Kamei, Made in Japan". Has a shallow concave polished pontil to the base.

Size

Measures approx 7.25 inches tall by 4.275 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Has a couple of small nicks to the base rim, and several surface scratches to the sides, all shown in final pictures.
