Murano/Sommerso 1950's Turquoise & Blue Glass Stem Vase

Description

Here is a wonderful large and heavy 1950/60's Venetian glass stem vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. In a stunning combination of turquoise glass cased in blue glass, which is further encased in clear glass, using the renowned Venetian sommerso technique.

Size

Measures approx 13 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks other than a couple of tiny fleabites to the rim, shown in final picture, and some internal staining from use.
