Murano 1950's Zanfirico Lattice Filigree Glass Vase

Description

A stunning Venetian tall glass vase, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. It has a ground and polished concave pontil mark to the base. Decorated with alternating stripes of green + white zanfirico lattice filigree and black, blue and white ribbons.

Size

Measures approx 12.5 inches tall by 4 inches in diameter at widest point.

Condition

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a couple of small surface scratches. The lattice pattern starts off clear and defined near the bottom of the vase, but kind of fades into "dots" higher up, see pics.
