Description
A wonderful
Victorian
1890's opaque
custard
glass rose bowl/posy vase, with internal blue casing. Small amounts of
uranium
in the glass cause it to glow bright green in UV light. Custard glass was made by several Victorian era glass factories, including
Stevens & Williams
and
Boulton & Mills
from the
Stourbridge
area of England, and Czech/Bohemian maker

.
Size
Measures approx 4 inches tall by 3.5 inches in diameter at widest point.
Condition
Has a nick to the rim and signs of restoration (ground out chips) to the rim, shown in final picture.
