LABELLED Alsterbro Swedish Blue Cased Hooped Glass Vase

Description

A stunning Scandinavian blue cased glass 'hooped' vase with white interior casing. Made by Alsterbro of Sweden, and still bears the original factory label. An interesting design, this vase can also be found with a Lindshammar label. It was most likely designed by Gunnar Ander, who was chief designer at both factories in the 1960's, when they had the same owner. When the Alsterbro factory closed, all production was then moved to Lindshammar.

Measures approx 8.75 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter at widest point.

Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.
