Italian Murano Glass Labels
Fratelli Barovier
The following labels are thought to have been used on the production of Emilio and Guido (Fratelli) Barovier, operational on Fondamenta Serenella 1 between at least 1947 until 1972. We are very grateful to Marc Heirmans for this information, which he made clear was a "best guess" based on very limited info. The second label may indicate a possible move of the factory to or from France at some point.
"Fratelli Barovier, Vetri Di Venezia" wax seal shaped red & gold foil label.
"Barovier Fréres, made in Monaco (France)" wax seal shaped red & gold foil label.
