A purple cased glass hooped vase with inner opal white casing. Label reads "Cristal Murano". More likely made in the Empoli region of Italy, with the word "Murano" being used to make the item more appealing, as sometimes happens with Empoli glass labels. Very similar to a design by Alfred Taube of Germany.
